Prior to joining Embankment in early 2013, Max served as a Development executive at production company Fourth Culture Films and its sister EIS fund. Previously Max worked for the BBC and Pari Passu Films and completed internships with Working Title, CBS and Studio Canal. He was previously an actor in Peter Weir’s Master and Commander, The Quiet Ones and TV Series Rome.
Paulina joined Embankment in 2017 through the Film Distributors' Association Trainee Scheme. As Sales and Marketing Manager, Paulina currently specialises in Eastern European and SE Asian Sales and international sales marketing, as well as multi-tasking between all departments. Previously she has worked on several film festivals, including the launch of the Doc'n Roll Film Festival. Prior to entering the film industry, she was a product manager and retail team-leader at Hamleys, one of the finest toy retailers in the world. Paulina is also fluent in Russian.
